Cookie Policy

How Vexa uses cookies. Last updated: July 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones Vexa, Inc. sets when you visit vexavoice.tech, and how you can control them. It applies to all visitors and signed-in users of our service.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. The browser sends them back to the originating server on subsequent requests, which allows the server to recognise you between page loads. Cookies are not programs and cannot run code or carry viruses.

Cookies have two main lifetimes: session cookies are deleted when you close your browser tab or window; persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.

Cookies we use

Vexa sets only the cookies required to operate the service and to remember a small number of your preferences. We do not set any third-party cookies.

Essential cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for authentication and security. Without them, you cannot sign in or submit forms safely. They cannot be turned off without breaking the service.

NamePurposeDurationType
vexa_sessionHolds your encrypted session token so that you remain signed in between page loads. Set as HttpOnly and Secure; not accessible to JavaScript.SessionFirst-party
vexa_csrfA one-time token that is validated on every form submission to prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks.SessionFirst-party

Preference cookies

These cookies remember choices you have made so that you do not have to re-select them on every visit. They store no personal information and can be cleared through your browser settings without preventing you from using the service.

NamePurposeDurationType
vexa_themeRemembers your color-scheme preference (dark or light) so that it is applied immediately on your next visit without a flash of the wrong theme.1 yearFirst-party
vexa_currencyStores the pricing currency you selected on the Pricing page (USD, GBP, or EUR), so pricing is displayed in your preferred currency on subsequent visits.1 yearFirst-party

Analytics

To understand how visitors use vexavoice.tech we use a privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics approach. Page-view counts and aggregate traffic patterns are derived from server-side access logs and do not require a cookie to be placed in your browser.

Where client-side analytics are used, they are configured to anonymise IP addresses before any storage, to respect your browser's Do Not Track and Sec-GPC signals, and to produce only aggregate, non-identifiable reports. No analytics data is sold or shared with third parties.

What we do not use

We do not set advertising cookies of any kind. We have no commercial arrangements with advertising networks and we do not participate in cross-site ad targeting or retargeting. Specifically:

  • No third-party advertising cookies are placed on vexavoice.tech.
  • No tracking pixels from social media platforms, ad exchanges, or demand-side platforms are loaded on any page of our site.
  • We do not share your browsing behaviour on our site with advertisers or data brokers.
  • We do not use browser fingerprinting, local storage tracking, or any non-cookie mechanism as a substitute for advertising identifiers.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The steps differ slightly between browsers:

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.

If you delete or block the essential cookies listed above, you will be signed out of your Vexa account and will need to sign in again on your next visit. Preference cookies can be cleared at any time without loss of functionality.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we make changes to the cookies we use. Material changes will be flagged with a revised last-updated date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by a notice in the product. The current version is always available at vexavoice.tech/cookies.
